Kick Off the Weekend with Jazz Night in the Park on Friday, Sept. 5th

The Town of Fort Mill invites you to a lively evening of live jazz music and local food at the Fort Mill Amphitheater in Walter Elisha Park. Jazz Night in the Park is a FREE event that will feature two dynamic performances by Nathan Angelo and the Chi-town Transit Authority!

The Performances

Singer-songwriter Nathan Angelo kicks off the show at 6PM. He’s known for blending classic pop with soulful storytelling and high-energy performance. Since launching his career in 2006, Angelo has sold more than 40,000 albums, has over 23 million Spotify streams, and has had his music featured on Netflix, CBS, and more!

Chi-Town Transit Authority takes the stage at 7:30PM and will close the show with a bang! This eight-piece tribute band is dedicated to the legendary music of Chicago. With their tight horn section and rich vocal harmonies, the band performs hits spanning four decades of Chicago’s music. Their powerful, crowd-pleasing live show will have everyone on their feet!

Food & Drink

A wide variety of food trucks and vendors will be on site to serve dinner, snacks, and sweet treats. Beer and wine will also be available for guests 21 and older, with ID check and sales managed by the Fort Mill History Museum.

  • Looms Way & Calhoun Street Park – 203 Calhoun Street
  • 123 N. White Street, Massey Street Lot (available after 5:15 PM)
  • Limited parking available in the Amphitheater Lot
  • Accessible parking: 205 N. White Street (front lot of Town Hall)

What to Bring

  • Lawn chairs or blankets
  • Valid ID for alcohol purchases
  • Comfortable shoes for dancing

With nationally recognized talent, a high-energy tribute performance, and plenty of delicious food and drink, this free community concert is not to be missed. Gather your family and friends, bring a chair, and enjoy live music under the stars in Fort Mill!
