Every spring, the Town of Fort Mill bursts with excitement over the annual South Carolina Strawberry Festival. Happening on May 2-3, 2025, at Walter Y. Elisha Park, this beloved festival honors the region’s rich strawberry heritage with a plethora of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, a car show, festival rides, vendors to shop from and, of course, an abundance of strawberry-themed contests, food, and games; the strawberry ice cream and donut-eating contests are always a hit!

Pre-Festival Events Lineup
- Strawberry Soirée
Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025
Location: The Clebourne House
Details: Kick off the festivities with an elegant evening featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, a wine pull, and lively music. Guests can also explore the exhibit “Ignite the Night: Celebrating the Legacy of the Fort Mill Fire Department.” - Little Miss Strawberry Festival Pageant
Date: Friday, April 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM
Location: Fort Mill High School
Details: Young contestants showcase their charm and talent in a delightful pageant celebrating the festival’s youngest ambassadors. - Teen, Miss & Mrs. Strawberry Festival Pageant
Date: Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM
Location: Fort Mill High School
Details: Join the community in celebrating the crowning of the Teen, Miss, and Mrs. Strawberry Festival queens in an evening filled with grace and poise. - Strawberry Sprint & Stroll 5K
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Main Street in Fort Mill
Details: Participants can choose between a 5K run starting at 9:00 AM and a one-mile fun run at 10:00 AM. The race will conclude with a Runner’s village, including local merchants, food trucks, kids’ zone, music and a festive atmosphere. Berry B. Good, Fort Mill’s strawberry mascot, and the reigning Strawberry Queens will also be part of the festivities. - Strawberry Scavenger Hunt
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Details: Embark on a fun-filled scavenger hunt, searching for strawberry-themed clues among local landmarks and businesses while learning about Fort Mill history. - Berry’s Bash

Details: Celebrate Berry B. Good’s birthday with sweet treats, pioneer crafts, storytelling, and museum tours in this family-friendly event. - Strawberry Festival Golf Tournament
Date: Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM
Location: Springfield Golf Club
Details: Golf enthusiasts can tee off in this captain’s choice tournament, enjoying a day on the greens in support of the festival.
