One of downtown Fort Mill’s historic buildings has officially entered its next chapter.

The former Fort Mill Police Department building is now home to the newly renovated offices of David W. Martin Law Group, which celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 5.

Guests had the opportunity to tour the transformed space, where the building’s history has been thoughtfully blended with modern design. Renovated by Ferrara Buist Contractors, the office features amenities including a mock trial room, a golf simulator, collaborative workspaces, and a spacious outdoor patio overlooking downtown Fort Mill. Firm representatives also hinted that additional businesses and amenities will be coming to the building in the future.

Founded in 2018, David W. Martin Law Group has experienced significant growth while serving clients throughout South Carolina. The firm provides legal representation in family law, personal injury, and criminal defense, with offices in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Greenville, and other communities across the state.

The move into the prominent downtown location reflects both the firm’s continued expansion and its investment in the Fort Mill community. By breathing new life into a building that once served as the town’s police headquarters, the project preserves an important piece of local history while giving it a new purpose.

The renovated office adds another exciting chapter to the ongoing revitalization of downtown Fort Mill, where historic buildings continue to find new life through thoughtful restoration and adaptive reuse.

Congratulations to David W. Martin Law Group on the opening of their new headquarters and to everyone involved in transforming one of Fort Mill’s most recognizable buildings into a beautiful new space for a growing business.
