Fort Mill’s dining scene just got even better with the opening of Mac’s Speed Shop, the popular barbecue restaurant known for its slow-smoked meats, extensive craft beer selection, and laid-back atmosphere. After much anticipation, the new Fort Mill location is officially open and is off to an exciting start!
Celebrating 20 years of serving legendary barbecue, Mac’s Speed Shop has built a loyal following across the Carolinas. It is known for its authentic smoked barbecue, flavorful appetizers, creative tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and Southern-inspired comfort food. With more than 100 craft beers on tap and in bottles, plus an impressive cocktail menu, it’s also a great spot to grab drinks with friends or catch a game.
The new Fort Mill restaurant offers a spacious layout with plenty of seating both indoors and on the outdoor patio, making it an ideal gathering place for groups of all sizes.
Some of their popular menu items include the fried pickles, burnt ends, and fried egg rolls stuffed with pulled pork, cole slaw, and mac & cheese. Their new Mexicue section of the menu is proving to be a hit as well.
And don’t forget dessert! Among signature favorites like banana pudding and a hot fudge brownie, they have reinvented the apple pie into a crispy egg roll version – a unique twist on a classic that shouldn’t be missed.
Beyond the food, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and eager to make guests feel at home. If you’ve been waiting for Mac’s Speed Shop to arrive in Fort Mill, now’s the time to stop by and see what all the excitement is about.
