Downtown Fort Mill has welcomed a new upscale destination for cigar and whiskey lovers. Charterhouse Cigar & Barrel is now open, bringing a premium cigar lounge and spirits experience to Main Street.
Located in the former PuckerButt Pepper Company and Tavern on Main space, the new concept blends a traditional cigar shop with a sophisticated lounge atmosphere—creating a place where guests can relax, socialize, and enjoy a carefully curated selection of beverages and cigars, from rare finds to everyday favorites.
The interior renovation reveals beautiful exposed brick that had previously been covered, while the removal of the building’s low ceilings now showcases attractive industrial beams and air ducts, giving the space an open and refined feel.
Inside, visitors will find a walk-in humidor stocked with premium cigars, along with a comfortable indoor smoking lounge. In addition to cigars and whiskey, the team plans to offer small bites and a dose of knowledge to help guests explore and refine their palate.

But cigars are only part of the experience. Charterhouse Cigar & Barrel also features an extensive bar with hundreds of whiskey and spirit options, making it a destination not only for cigar aficionados but also for those who appreciate fine bourbon, scotch, and craft cocktails.
The opening adds another layer to the growing lineup of businesses along Main Street, continuing the evolution of Downtown Fort Mill as a place to dine, shop, and now unwind with a premium cigar and drink in hand.
If you’re looking for a new experience in town, Charterhouse Cigar & Barrel is a unique addition to Fort Mill’s nightlife scene.
