One of Fort Mill’s favorite spring traditions is back! The Sixth Annual Strawberry Sprint and Stroll 5K and Fun Run will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, bringing runners, walkers, and families together in the heart of historic downtown Fort Mill.

Hosted by Fort Mill Economic Partners (FMEP), the Strawberry Sprint & Stroll officially kicks off the South Carolina Strawberry Festival weekend and is a fun, festive morning for participants of all ages.

A Scenic Course Through Historic Fort Mill

The course will follow the same popular route as previous years, starting and finishing on Main Street and winding through nearby residential neighborhoods. Runners and walkers can expect rolling hills, cheering neighbors, and scenic views that showcase the charm of Fort Mill’s historic downtown corridor.

The 5K race begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by the one-mile Fun Run at 10:00 a.m., making it a great event for competitive runners, casual walkers, and families.

After crossing the finish line, participants are encouraged to stick around for the Runner’s Village, which will feature local merchants, food trucks, music, and a kids’ zone. Adding to the excitement, Berry B. Good, Fort Mill’s beloved strawberry mascot, and the reigning Strawberry Queens are expected to make appearances throughout the morning.

Awards will be presented during a ceremony at 10:30 a.m., including Top Male and Top Female Overall winners, as well as age-group awards for the 5K. Categories include: 14 & under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.

Registration Now Open

Race registration is now live, and participants are encouraged to sign up early! An early bird registration special is available now through December 30.

Packet pick-up will take place on Friday, April 24, from 2–6 p.m. at Charlotte Running Co. Riverwalk. Race-day registration will also be available, though t-shirts are not guaranteed after April 15.
