On February 9, the Town of Fort Mill officially dedicated its new Town Hall at 205 N. White Street — marking a meaningful moment that honors the town’s past while looking confidently toward its future.
The iconic red-brick building has stood for 75 years and once served as the Springs Executive Office. For generations, it has been a recognizable landmark in the heart of Fort Mill — a symbol of leadership, progress, and community pride.
Mayor Guynn Savage reflected on the significance of the space during the ceremony, calling it a powerful representation of togetherness and shared history.
Town Manager Cary Vargo shared that the thoughtfully restored structure will now serve a renewed purpose — supporting public service, civic engagement, and the continued growth of Fort Mill.
The transformation of the historic building into Town Hall preserves its architectural character while breathing new life into a space that has long been a fixture in the heart of the community.
The ribbon cutting ceremony brought together town officials and residents to celebrate this milestone and the next chapter for Fort Mill. As the doors officially open, the building stands not just as a reminder of where the town has been — but as a foundation for where it’s headed.
