Blue Root Acupuncture Opens New Location on Main Street

8 November 2024

Fort Mill’s Main Street is buzzing with growth as it welcomes Blue Root Acupuncture, a fresh addition dedicated to holistic health and wellness. Previously located on Clebourne Street, it aims to provide a nurturing environment with an integrative approach to one’s health and healing. This encompasses a range of services from traditional acupuncture and holistic medical treatments to cosmetic procedures and soul transformation sessions.

Founder and Head Practitioner Angela Soto has built a strong team dedicated to addressing various health concerns from stress relief and pain management to digestive issues and overall well-being. She says “Through the practice of holistic medicine and spiritual work, I focus on helping individuals heal body, mind, and spirit by addressing the root cause of disease and mentally releasing unhealthy patterns. My approach is rooted in the belief that true healing occurs when we align these aspects of ourselves.”Angela Soto and family

The new and larger space not only is able to provide more services such as an infrared sauna with halotherapy, but they will also host workshops and classes in an effort to educate the community about holistic health practices and empower individuals to take charge of their wellness journey.

Services Offered

Below is a quick snapshot of services offered at Blue Root Acupuncture. See a full list of services here.

Acupuncture: Acupuncture, one of the keystones of Chinese medicine, supports the body’s innate healing potential by improving micro-circulation, increasing tissue healing, regulating hormones, and calming the nervous system.

Gua Sha: Gua Sha involves palpation and cutaneous stimulation where the skin is pressured, in strokes, by a round-edged instrument. Raising Sha removes blood stagnation considered pathogenic, promoting normal circulation and metabolic processes.

Cupping: Cupping can be done to relieve pain and also help breathing issues like asthma or digestion issues. Cupping is unique in that it is mostly a reducing therapy or one that takes away.

Micro-needling: Micro-needling is a minimally invasive therapeutic technique that stimulates the body’s natural healing process to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastic resulting in smoother, tighter, more youthful-looking skin.

Infrared Sauna: Infrared light produces heat, which directly warms the body rather than the surrounding air, resulting in enhanced detoxification through increased perspiration, improved blood circulation, alleviation of muscle and joint pain, promotion of better skin health, and significant stress reduction. Their 3-in-1 sauna includes infrared light, red light therapy, and halotherapy so you can reap the benefits of three treatments in one session.

Energy Healing: From insightful astrology readings and the soothing power of reiki to enlightening tarot card readings and the harmonizing effects of body and energy field tuning with tuning forks, they offer a full spectrum of metaphysical healing.

Massage Therapy: From therapeutic and reflexology massages to lymphatic drainage, Blue Root Acupuncture knows what you need to relax and reduce pain.

With the launch of Blue Root Acupuncture on Main Street, York County residents now have a valuable resource for holistic health and wellness. Whether you’re a long-time client or new to acupuncture and holistic medicine, Blue Root Acupuncture is eager to welcome you into their new home and help you on your path to wellness.
